48th Mid-States Craft Exhibition

The Evansville Museum of Arts, History & Science is proud to present the 48th Mid-States Craft Exhibition, a long-standing juried exhibition celebrating excellence and innovation in contemporary craft. This year’s exhibition showcases 42 works by 33 artists from across six states, highlighting a dynamic range of materials, techniques, and artistic perspectives.

Featuring works in fiber, glass, ceramics, mixed media, and more, the Mid-States Craft Exhibition honors traditional craft practices while embracing bold experimentation and contemporary ideas. The selected artists demonstrate exceptional technical skill and thoughtful storytelling, reflecting the evolving nature of craft today.

Several works in the exhibition have been recognized with merit and purchase awards, with select pieces entering the Museum’s permanent collection. The 48th Mid-States Craft Exhibition is on view through February 22, 2026, offering visitors an opportunity to experience the creativity and craftsmanship shaping the Midwest and beyond.
