Join us for a Travel Show and informational session detailing the Evansville Museum’s October 1–6 trip to Washington, DC, presented as part of the Museum’s U.S. 250 commemoration.
Hosted by Chief Curator Tom Lonnberg, this immersive journey will explore some of the nation’s most iconic landmarks, including the U.S. Capitol Building, World War II Memorial, Washington National Cathedral, Arlington National Cemetery, Mount Vernon, and more.
The tour is expertly planned by Tourcy LLC in partnership with Collette Travel Services and will include a professional travel manager and knowledgeable local guides, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience.

Tom Lonnberg has curated more than 125 history exhibitions during his 38-year career at the Evansville Museum. He currently serves as President of the Vanderburgh County Historical Society and previously spent 20 years as an adjunct instructor at the University of Southern Indiana, teaching United States history.
Lonnberg holds a Master’s degree in United States History from Indiana University and a Bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Southern Indiana.
