The Evansville Museum of Arts, History & Science invites the community to attend the July edition of The Club, our free monthly gathering for adults, on Friday, July 3 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

This month’s featured presentation is a guided tour of the Museum’s newest exhibition, Pieces of the Past: America at 250 Years, led by Curatorial Assistant Savanah Summerfield. Museum doors will open at 11:00 AM, and the tour will begin at 11:15 AM.

About the Exhibition

Join the Evansville Museum this summer as we commemorate the 250th anniversary of the United States of Americathrough Pieces of the Past: America at 250 Years.

This special exhibition brings together historical artifacts, untold stories, artwork, and photographs to explore the story of our community within the broader context of American history. Visitors will discover how local experiences connect to national events and gain a deeper understanding of the people and moments that have shaped both Evansville and the nation over the past two and a half centuries.

The exhibition will be on display through Fall 2026.

About The Club

The Club is a welcoming monthly event designed for adults who enjoy learning, socializing, and exploring new ideas. Each gathering features a special presentation, lecture, or guided tour led by Museum staff, curators, or guest speakers.

In addition to the featured program, guests can enjoy:

• Board games

• Light snacks and refreshments

• Conversation and community connections

• The Kids’ Zone, where children and grandchildren can play while remaining safely within your eyesight

• Admission: Free (donations are gratefully accepted)

• RSVP: Not required

• Groups: Larger groups are encouraged to call ahead
