Join the Evansville Museum of Arts, History & Science for our monthly Club, a welcoming and engaging program held on the first Friday of (almost) every month. This FREE event, sponsored by Trilogy Health Services, Solarbron, and Park Avenue Securities & The Owen Team, is open to all adults and offers a chance to connect, learn, and enjoy a relaxed morning at the Museum.
This month’s Club will feature a special showcase by the Evansville Museum Docent Association, a dedicated group of volunteers who provide educational experiences for thousands of students each year.
During this interactive program, Docents will demonstrate the hands-on activities and engaging presentations they use during school field trips. This showcase is perfect for children, families, and adults interested in learning more about the Museum’s educational programming—or those considering becoming a Docent themselves.
Founded in 1965, the Evansville Museum Docent Association plays a vital role in the Museum’s mission to educate and inspire. In addition to leading field trips and supporting special events, Docents participate in enrichment opportunities and social activities throughout the year. This highly trained and passionate group is always welcoming new members.
For more information about joining the Docent Association, please contact education@emuseum.org.
The Club is designed as a space to meet new people, take a break, and try something new. Each month features a unique presentation, tour, or activity. Guests can also enjoy board games, light snacks, and a Kids’ Zone, where children can play safely within view while adults participate in programming.
RSVPs are not required, but larger groups are encouraged to call ahead.
