Join us for a special late-night star party as we observe the 2026 Partial Lunar Eclipse at the Evansville Museum of Arts, History & Science.
During this celestial event, part of the Moon will pass through Earth’s shadow, taking on a striking red hue. Unlike a solar eclipse, a lunar eclipse is safe to view and unfolds gradually over several hours—making it a perfect opportunity to relax, look up, and take in the night sky.
Guests are invited to explore the eclipse alongside Museum staff, the Evansville Astronomical Society, and fellow skywatchers; learning more about the science behind this fascinating phenomenon.
