Presented in partnership with the Evansville Vanderburgh Public Library, this special program features Dr. Patrick Griffin, Professor at the University of Notre Dame and one of the nation's leading scholars of colonial America and the Atlantic world.
As America commemorates the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, Dr. Griffin will examine how three iconic paintings have influenced the way generations of Americans remember the Revolution. His presentation draws on decades of research into the interconnected histories of America, Ireland, and Britain.
