Normandy and the Evansville Connection an 80th Anniversary Remembrance

In the presentation presented in partnership with the Vanderburgh County Historical Society, Tom Lonnberg will discuss Evansville’s link to the landings on the beaches of Normandy in June of 1944. This will include Evansville-built LSTs that participated in this historic event and other significant connections to this retaking of France from Nazi Germany during World War II.
