In this presentation presented in partnership with the Vanderburgh County Historical Society, historian Dr. James MacLeod will discuss Operation Overlord, one of the most significant military operations of the 20th century and then describe some of the most important American war cemeteries and memorials that commemorate the huge cost paid in American lives to secure the freedom of Western Europe.
