Commemorate the US 250th with a Trip to the Nation’s Capital

Join the Evansville Museum’s chief curator Tom Lonnberg*, on a September 10-15 trip to Washington DC. In the year commemorating the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, travelers will visit iconic sites including the U. S. Capital Building, the World War II Memorial, the Washington National Cathedral, Arlington National Cemetery, Mt. Vernon and more. About your Host

Tom Lonnberg has curated over 125 history exhibitions during his 38 years at the Museum. He currently serves as president of the Vanderburgh County Historical Society and previously was an adjunct instructor for 20 years at the University of Southern Indiana teaching American history. Lonnberg earned his master’s degree, after studying United States history, from Indiana University and a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Southern Indiana.
