The Evansville Museum wishes you to be well-informed prior to your visit. We are pleased to offer you a number of ways to plan the most enjoyable visit possible. For more information please don't hesitate to call. The Evansville Museum is a smoke-free environment. Animals are not allowed in the museum with the exception of service animals.

Tuesday through Saturday: 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Sunday: Noon - 5:00 p.m.

Evansville Museum Transportation Center (EMTRAC) Hours
Tuesday through Saturday: 10:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Sunday: Noon - 4:30 p.m.

Evansville, Indiana is in the Central Time Zone and observes Daylight Savings Time the second Sunday in March through the first
Sunday in November. The Museum is closed on New Year's Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
Museum and EMTRAC Admission
We ask that you consider a donation of $4.00 per adult and $2.00 per child during your visit to the Museum.
The Evansville Museum Transportation Center, EMTRAC, has an admission charge of $2.00 for adults. Children under 12 are free if accompanied by an adult. Members are admitted free to EMTRAC with the presentation of a valid membership card.
Admission to our Koch Planetarium is $3.00 for Adults; $2.00 for children ages 3-12. Children under three years of age free. For group rates, telephone 812-425-2406.
How to Get Here
The Evansville Museum of Arts and Science is located in downtown Evansville, Indiana on the banks of the Ohio River. We are located at opposite the corner of Cherry Street and Southeast Riverside Drive (Veterans Memorial Parkway becomes Riverside Drive one block from the Museum.)
From the south: Take U.S. 41 across the Ohio River to Veterans Memorial Parkway Exit. Drive around a very long ramp and proceed west on the Parkway. The Museum is located at the third light.
From the north: Take I-164 south to where it passes over U.S. 41. The Interstate becomes Veterans Memorial Parkway. The Museum is located at the third light west on the Parkway.
From the Llyod Expressway and the East (aka 66 West): Traveling westbound, proceed west past U.S. 41 at which point the expressway becomes SR 62 West. Proceed past downtown. Make a left turn at the light at Fulton Avenue. Fulton becomes Riverside Drive one block later. Travel past the Casino Aztar and the downtown epanade. The Museum entrance is just past the epanade, on right.
From Illinois: Take Indiana 62 to South Fulton Avenue. Turn right on South Fulton Avenue. Fulton becomes Riverside Drive one block later. Travel past the Casino Aztar and the downtown epanade. The Museum entrance is just past the epanade, on right.
