THM

Located at the Shipyard facility, THM was an electrical subcontractor. THM was a joint venture of three Louisville electrical contractors who joined forces to meet the needs of the Evansville Shipyard. The firm installed all the electrical services for the Shipyard facility and also strung 3,000 feet of cable for each LST.

Second from the left in the front row of this photograph is D. W. Vaughn. Vaughn was Assistant Superintendent of the Supervisor Department at THM during World War II. Later, he was chairman of the board and chief executive officer of Southern Indiana Gas and Electric Company. He was also a noted civic leader.
