The Museum Shop presents
Drawn From Nature:
The Photographs of
Lowry Igleheart-Keach
July through December, 2010
The Museum Shop Manager Pati Hoskins with Lowry Igleheart-Keach.
Born and raised in Evansville, Indiana, with a lifelong passion for the arts, Lowry Igleheart-Keach channeled her creativity primarily into the culinary arts for over 35 years. Recently, she has turned her talents toward the visual arts – using the medium of photography to draw attention to the detail and design in nature that is all too often overlooked in the rush of daily life. Also a master gardener, many of Lowry's works are inspired by the simple intricacy of the plant kingdom which she encounters in her own gardens and those she visits.
Lowry lives in Henderson, Kentucky, with her husband, Houston Keach, and their sweet “but unphotogenic” dog Bert. She is grateful for two beautiful daughters, a rich patchwork of extended family, and the “marvelously quixotic natural canvas” from which she “draws continued inspiration”.
