The Evansville Museum does not actively gather information on you when you visit our web site. Our internet service provider (Yahoo!), may collect and store information your web browser sends when it requests our web pages, but we do not access this information. Rest assured that if you just casually visited our site and left, you'd essentially leave without a trace

Electronic Mail
When you send us personal identifying information via email, we use it to respond to your requests. We may forward your email to other Evansville Museum employees, or contract others who are better able to answer your questions. We do not retain or distribute lists of email addresses to any parties outside of the Museum.

Collection and Release of Gathered Information
We will not obtain personal identifying information about you when you visit our web site, unless you choose to provide such information to us. Information collected via email will be retained at our discretion as long as necessary to complete our response. The email itself may be retained in an archival form and may become part of a paper file if we think that your mail might be worth hanging on to for a while.

Cookies
Some Web sites may save a "cookie" on your computer's hard disk to provide a temporary history of actions taken. Our Web site does not retain any record of these "cookies", however, we welcome the donation of cookies (low-fat please, we're health conscious here) at our 411 SE Riverside Drive business address.
