SATURN WATCH TO BE A RINGER
Presented in partnership with
THE EVANSVILLE ASTRONOMICAL SOCIETY
Since its nearest approach to the Earth earlier in the year, the planet Saturn
has been a remarkable sight, blazing as a yellow “star” in our evening sky.
Saturn is also a spectacular sight through a telescope—a sight which will not soon be forgotten.
The Museum Staff and the Evansville
Astronomical Society invite you attend a
free public Saturn Watch in the Museum
parking lot on Saturday, April 12
from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. This public view of the
the ringed planet and its four
moons may be cancelled in the event of
inclement weather. Museum members,
their families, friends and neighbors are
encouraged to attend this event.
This event is weather permitting and may be cancelled due to inclement weather.
In the event of clouds, the event will be cancelled.
