Immersive Theater Tech
The Evansville Museum of Arts, Historyand Science is seeking qualified individualsto help create memorable experiences for its guests. Responsibilities include:serving as a projectionist and presenter in the Museum’s Koch Immersive Theater (planetarium), the creation of digital products using our Digistar Computer Graphics System and the presentation of live astronomy programs in the Theater. Other responsibilities include: providing occasional assistance at our admissions desk, the supervision of teen volunteers and helping with the development and installation of science exhibitionsand theater programming.
You'll be working at a general museum of arts, history and science that recently completed a $14 Million renovation and has been the leading cultural institution in the community for over 110 years. The ideal candidate will have an interest in science, enjoy sharing knowledge with children, be willing to learn new digital video techniques and posses good communication skills. Superior candidates would be familiar one or more software products such as Final Cut Pro, Adobe Creative Suite 6, Excel and Word. A healthy enthusiasm for science is required!This is a part-time, hourlyposition. Weekends and occasional evening and weekday morning hours are required. Benefits include a pension plan.

Housekeeper needed early mornings to perform day-to-day custodial functions as assigned. Eye for detail, including carpet cleaning, vacuuming, floor care, trash removal and restroom cleaning. Previous cleaning experience preferred.
