About the Evansville Museum Contemporaries (EMC)
The Evansville Museum Contemporaries (EMC) is one of Evansville’s premier cultural support organizations. This dynamic group provides financial support for the Museum through a variety of fundraising programs, and cultivates future leadership for the Museum by nurturing the next generation of art collectors and community leaders.
Members enjoy a full calendar of exciting social and educational events, including Museum exhibitions, lectures, day trips, and fundraisers. These activities promote awareness of the Museum as well as a broader understanding of contemporary art and culture.
We:
- Promote awareness of the Museum and a broader understanding of contemporary art and culture.
- Cultivate future leadership for the Museum by nurturing the next generation of art collectors and community leaders.
- Provide financial support for the museum through a variety of fundraising programs.
- Encourage and support the development of members’ art collections.
Annual dues are $20 in addition to Museum membership.
